As of late (during the last week or so) I’ve been enjoying green juice for many of my meals. I never initially look forward to it and desire many other things before that, but I go ahead with it anyway. When it comes time to drinking it, I love what I have made and often can’t seem to get enough of it. My basic recipe goes something like this:
- ginger
- burdok
- carrot
- kale
- spinach
- parsley
- wheat grass
- apple
- dandylion
- celery
- lime
It is a long list and many would frown upon such a juice, but I find it to be an excellant way to get my greens in. As far as juicing goes, I’ve tried it in my champion (electric) juicer and it tastes terrible. On the other hand when I use my Z-Star Manual Juices by Tribest the flavor is much much better. The manual juicer takes longer to setup, juice, and cleanup, but is well worth the effort.
