I had gotten off of school, driven home, and was having dinner when I thought I would just check the listings for movies. Much to my surprise there was a diamond in the rough. A Hayao Miyazaki film! The theater is a 10 minute drive and it starts in 15 minutes, so I promptly finished my dinner, and ran off to the theater leaving my dishes for when I get back. Having just got back, I am very glad I went. First of all, it was only $3 for the movie ticket (a very welcomed surprise on my part). The movie itself was amazing. Imagine, if you will, the wonderful rich world of “Castle in the Sky” with amazing machines, magic, and wonderful music to go along with it, then take the lovable characters of “Spirited Away” and how heartwarming and wonderful they are. As with all Miyazaki films, it was a pleasure to watch, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it (if you like Miyazaki films you will love it).
